Popular Telegu actor and comedian Venu Madhav passed away at 39 in Hyderabad. He was suffering from kidney-related illnesses for a while and was in critical condition. He took his last breath at a private hospital in Secunderabad.

Venu Madhav was suffering from kidney-related-illness from a while. He was admitted at the Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday evening. He has been undergoing dialysis and was recommended liver transplantation days ago by doctors.


Madhav had been in the hospital for the last two weeks. This Sunday he was discharged on the advice to get liver transplantation. However, as his condition got worsened, he was hurried back to the hospital. Madhav was immediately shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and was put on the life support system, this morning. The 39-year-old actor was declared dead by the doctors at 12.21 pm on Wednesday.

His career

The great Telugu actor was born in Kodad of Suryapet district in Andra Pradesh on 30th December 1979. Before entering into Tollywood Venu Madhav was a telephone operator in Telugu Desam Party-TDP office and had a good relationship with NT Rama Rao (Actor turned politician and former CM of Andra Pradesh). Venu Madhav started his career as a mimicry artist and later entered into films as a comedian. He made his debut in Telugu with Sampradayam, which released in the year 1996. The actor has acted in nearly 400 films in Tamil and Telugu.

The Telugu film industry is in shock as they hear this sorrowful news. Madhav has not been a part of any movie for so long, specifically due to health issues. Last year, in December, he showed interest in fighting the Assembly elections and also filed nomination papers from Kodad assembly constituency.
