Aditya Chopra, who heads the Yash Raj Films now, also recorded his statement on Saturday. However, in his statement, he has said that he was not approached by Bhansali seeking permission to let Sushant work in Bajirao Mastani. Chopra also mentioned that they allowed Sushant to work in the MS Dhoni biopic which proves that they never stopped the actor from working with filmmakers outside the production house.

Contradictory Statements

There has been a stark contrast in the statements by both Aditya Chopra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In his statement, Sanjay Leela Bhansali told that he approached YRF to seek permission to let Sushant work in four of his films including Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat all of which were blockbusters.

The Mumbai police team will be further investigating the statements of both the filmmakers as the confusion has reached. There have been massive campaigns online seeking a CBI inquiry into Sushant’s Suicide case. However, the home minister of Maharashtra has dismissed the need for it as he has full faith in Mumbai Police.
