A photo of a newborn baby trying to ‘remove’ a doctor’s surgical mask has gone viral on social media. The photo is giving hope to people amid the coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic has forced people to wear face masks while stepping out of their homes to reduce the risk of the transmission of the viral infection.
The photo was shared by UAE-based gynaecologist Dr Samer Cheaib. The doctor can be seen holding the newborn baby his hands as it pulls his mask revealing his giant smile.
“We all want a sign that we are going to take off the mask soon,” Dr Cheaib wrote while sharing the picture.
The picture didn’t take much time to go viral on social media. It has received more than 13,900 like son Instagram. The photo is giving netizens hope for a better future, with many saying that it should be the photo of the year.
One user said, “What a beautiful and meaningful picture. And the baby already knows what is right…we need to breathe!” Another wrote, “It’s the best emotions that I have ever seen!”
Someone commented, “This is everyone’s hope.” Yet another added, “The most beautiful thing I have seen! Hopefully, we will get rid of the masks soon! Thank u for sharing!”
Earlier, a photo from Italy showing a newborn wearing a diaper with the words “Andrà tutto bene”, translated as “Everything is going to be all right”, written on it had gone viral.
The photo was shared by the Niguarda Hospital in Milan on March 16. “Life is stronger than anything! Welcome to all the babies who are being born in these difficult days…You are proof that life doesn’t stop,” the photo was captioned.
This is the cutest and one of the best things that happened in 2020. May we get more joys and positivity in the coming year.
