Not Maldives Or Switzerland, Pankaj Tripathi Went To His Village For A Vacation And Cooked Litti Chokha

Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi was seen preparing Littis in his native village. Unlike other celebrities who prefer going to the Maldives for vacation, the actor went on a three-day trip to his native village in Gopalganj in Bihar.

The village trip

The well-known Pankaj Tripathi is now counted among the big stars of Bollywood. After making huge money and having massive followers, Pankaj Tripathi remains to be grounded and kind. And that’s one of the reasons why he is everyone’s favorite actor. He not only adds uniqueness to his performances, but he also makes sure he remains close to his roots always.


While most Bollywood stars take a vacation abroad, Pankaj Tripathi goes to his village for a vacation. Not the Maldives or Switzerland, when the actor decides to take a break, he decided to visit his village in the Gopalganj district.

Before the release of his films, Pankaj Tripathi often visited his village to take the blessings of his parents. But this time, after the release of the film Sherdil, he was in Belsand to seek the blessings of his parents and his elder brother. And, after having a good time, he again left for Mumbai.

The viral video

In the viral video, he prepares Bihar’s favorite Litti Chokha. He does it in the traditional style – sitting in a squatting position in a circle beside a coal fire cooking the Littis. Apart from enjoying the food, the actor took a bath at the borewell.


“Anand le rahe hain Gaon ka… Litti Chokha bann raha hai aaj… Tubewell mein naha rahe hain…”(I am enjoying the village… Have been preparing Litti Choka… Also took a bath through a borewell), he can be seen saying in the video.

The 45-year-old revealed that this time he has come to the village after six months. He had a lot of fun with his family and the people in his village.

On the work front, Pankaj Tripathi will be next seen in Fukrey 3 and Oh My God 2 along with Amazon Prime Video’s popular web series Mirzapur 3.
