A yellow warning
A yellow warning was issued in Bengaluru, and the India Meteorological Department predicted heavy rains in many places on Tuesday, August 30. A holiday was also announced for schools and PU colleges across the city for Tuesday. However, many commuters faced severe traffic due to waterlogging during their travel to offices.
Many netizens shared their experience of commuting on the flooded roads. Soumendra Das, a resident from Bengaluru, wrote, “Took me 45 mins to clear a 1km stretch at Bellandur.”
Now it's Bengaluru's turn. Commuters struggle as Bellandur lake overflows. Heavy traffic pile-up. Take alternative route if possible.
