While speaking at the Gallata Plus Mega Roundtable 2022, the Beast actress said, “Speaking as an audience for the Kannada industry, as I originally belong from Mangalore, we want to be represented when you watch a film. You wanna see yourself and your culture. And a film like Kantara that depicts Bhoota Kola. These are the things that I have grown up watching. I myself have experienced the magic of this tradition. And seeing that on the big screen was Wooow!”

“It makes me happy that people will watch this and experience this magic. My whole family including my grandmother and mother wanted to go and watch Kantara and they don’t want to watch other films. This is something that makes me proud,” she adds.
