A case has been filed against Pratap NM or famously now known as drone Pratap for violating the quarantine rules of the novel coronavirus. The case has been filed in the Talaghattapura police station.
In this regard, the police officers and the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Home Quarantine citizen squad have now launched a search operation for Pratap. Pratap has been in news for all the wrong reasons lately. Earlier, Pratap was famous as a young scientist who had made 600 drones through e-waste. Lately, he has been under fire for allegations of lying about various things including the claim of building 600 drones.
Pratap is a resident of an apartment in Talaghattapura. He had returned to the city from Hyderabad on the 15th of July. Like everyone else, the BBMP had advised him home quarantine for a period of 14 days. On the very first day of the home quarantine, Pratap broke the rules in order to give an interview to a popular channel. In the wake of this, the BBMP has lodged a complaint in the Talaghattapura police station. An FIR has also been filed against Pratap and a search operation has been launched. Pratap’s phone has been switched off.
Pratap Found In Mysore
In a recent update, Pratap was known to be in Mysore. Reportedly, he has been in quarantine in Mysore. The BBMP officials and the police are now going to get Pratap back to Bengaluru.
Pratap has confirmed that he would be in quarantine after returning to Bengaluru. However, the authorities are likely to shift Pratap to institutional quarantine. It is still unclear as to what action the police will take on the FIR which was filed for violating the quarantine rules.
Pratap’s video interview with the channel has been doing the rounds of social media as people are calling him out for fraudulent claims. Even in the interview, Pratap acknowledged that he had broken the quarantine rules and regulations.
