Old is gold but gold is the culture of India. However, seeing someone with a mask of gold is not very common. Recently, a man has been seen wearing a mask of gold and netizens can’t stop flooding their twitter accounts with comments about the same.

According to the man, though the mask is made of gold, it is pretty thin and has very minute holes in it to help him breathe. He says he got the gold mask after seeing a man wearing a silver mask on TV.

A man in Pimpri-Chinchwad district of Pune has gotten himself a mask made of pure gold, worth Rs 2.89 lakhs. His pictures are going viral on social media where he can be seen flaunting the gold mask. But the man isn’t too sure if the mask is going to be very effective in preventing coronavirus.

According to a report by ANI, the man — Shankar Kurade — said that the mask is made of gold but is pretty thin and has very minute holes in it to help him breathe. The mask weighs about five and a half tolas (around 60 grams). He said he got inspired by seeing a man wearing a silver mask on TV.
