On Tuesday, Bharatiya Janata Party replaced its Delhi Chief Manoj Tiwari with Adesh Kumar Gupta who is the former mayor of the north Delhi municipal.
The BJP President JP Nadda appointed Adesh Kumar Gupta through a letter by the National Secretary of the party Arun Singh. Adesh Kumar Gupta who was also the former councilor from West Patel Nagar replaced Manoj Tiwari, the actor-singer-turned-politician.
Manoj Tiwari was the BJP’s Delhi head when the party went to polls earlier this year. He was appointed in the year 2016. Following BJP’s defeat to Aam Aadmi Party in the election, Manoj Tiwari had offered to quit.

BJP is struggling in Delhi because you can't put up a Bihari actor against an IITan from local area who can both do and act better 😉☺️

Adesh Kumar Gupta is a relatively unknown name. Still BJP supporters are rejoicing because literally anyone replacing Tiwari is good news.
