Mahesh Bhatt Is A Strong Man, Trying To Throw Me Out Of My House: Luviena Lodh

Luviena Lodh, wife of Mahesh Bhatt’s nephew Sumit Sabharwal, has claimed that the Bhatt family is trying to throw her out of her house. On Friday, Luviena had released a video accusing Mahesh Bhatt of harassment.

WHAT ARE THE ALLEGATIONS?

Talking about the allegations, Luviena said, “In 2016, I filed FIR against my husband Sumit Sabharwal as he was involved in illegal activities like supplying drugs to actors. When I would catch him doing such activities, he would beaten me up and that’s why I filed a case against him in 2016.”

RELATION BETWEEN LUVIENA LODH AND THE BHATTS

Luviena is the wife of Sumit Sabharwal, who is a son of Mahesh Bhatt’s real sister Kumkum Sehgal. Luviena got married to Sumit in 2010.

WHAT IS THE EXACT CASE?

Luviena is staying in a house that is in the name of her husband Sumit Sabharwal, as she had filed a case against him in 2016, the court gave her the permission to remain in the same house after marriage as she has been staying in the same house for the last ten years. Luviena says, “Now Kumkum Sehgal, my husband and all Bhatts are trying to throw me out of my house because I saw their reality of giving drugs to actors.”

She further adds, “In 2010 I got married, in 2013 I started noticing this illegal activities. He gave drugs to Amyra Dastoor I saw from my own eyes, in fact my husband gave drugs to Sapna Pabbi.” According to Luviena, Kumkum Sehgal confessed to her that they are doing all this for a very long.

WHY IS LUVIENA TALKING ABOUT ALL THIS NOW?

Luviena said, “The cases are going on from 2016, but now they are trying to evict me from my house that’s why I came out. I am facing a lot now and Mahesh Bhatt is a very strong man and I had no option but to come out and talk.”

Mahesh Bhatt has filed a suit against Luviena with the Bombay High Court for ‘distasteful, patently false, grossly defamatory and slanderous allegations’ against him. He’s also demanded Rs 1 crore in damages.

Talking about the same, Luviena said, “Stop harassing me that’s what I want to say, they are creating mental pressure on me, putting baseless cases on me. I am not defaming anyone, I am saying the truth. I want justice.”
