Yes, Sandalwood’s KGF has done this and it has beaten Zero on a popular movie ticket booking platform, Book My Show.

It is a known fact that KGF and Zero movies are clashing on the same date. We also know that there will be a severe competition with an impact on box-office collection. However, prior to that, KGF has shown true signs of a blockbuster hit on BookMyShow. Based on the number of people who are interested to watch a movie, BookMyShows showcases a number on its platform. Talking to media, President of the Karnataka Film Distributors Association, N Kumar said, “This is a new thing for the Kannada Film Industry. The film is releasing in over 400 theatres in the state and over 1500 theatres in the country.” It was earlier planned to release in over 4,800 theatres in the country coupled with 1000+ theatres featuring the Hindi Version of the film.
