The big news is coming in from Filmmaker Prashanth Neel. The KGF helmer has just confirmed that ‘NTR 31’ will go on floors in April or May 2023. But, It’s going to be another prolonged wait as the project may take longer than you think.
NTR 31 to have 2 Part
According to reports, Tarak is said to have locked 3 years for the Prashanth Neel film and is being made in 2 parts. The filming of this Pan India film will start this year. Prashanth Neel has decided to film this project on a massive scale and it will be his biggest project so far.
“Prashanth Neel has blocked the actor for a good three years for the same. The filming of NTR 31 could tentatively wind up by the end of 2024. Part 2 (NTR 32) may begin its shoot in the same year,” sources revealed.
During his latest interaction with the media, Prashanth Neel confirmed that he is also focusing on ‘NTR 31’ and has revealed that the film will go on floors in April or May this year.
Also, if the reports are believed, Chiyaan Vikram is considered to play the antagonist in NTR 31. Apart from Vikram, Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan and Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi are also under consideration.
Delay in shooting
For now, Prashanth Neel is busy with Prabhas’ Salaar and the shoot is in its final stages. On the other hand, NTR is looking to start shooting on Koratala Siva’s NTR 30 and this may take a few more months to complete the shoot. With the given situation NTR 31’s shoot may be further delayed.
While fans are super excited about their star working with one of the top action directors, the long delays and wait on each of Neel’s projects have also been quite frustrating for many. Especially for the Kannada fans who are waiting for KGF: Chapter 3. If the delays are further extended, the Kannada movie may go on floors only after 2025 and by that time Yash might not be available for shoots since he will be busy with his own films.
