Kejriwal Recites Hanuman Chalisa On An Interview, Calls Himself A “Kattar Hanuman Bhakt”

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that he always recites Hanuman Chalisa which gives him peace of mind. The AAP leader also sang the Hanuman Chalisa during an event organized by the news 18.

Arvind Kejriwal who will be competing in the assembly elections on 8 February represented himself as a “Kattar(True) Hanuman Bhakt”. Kejriwal made this statement over reportedly being termed as an anti-Hindu by the Bharathiya Janatha Party.

The news anchor had asked him if he visited Hanuman Temples, to which Kejriwal replied, “Of course I do”.

Then, the interviewer further asked him if he knew the Hanuman Chalisa, to which, Kejriwal again answered in the affirmative. He said that he knows the verse by heart but is shy because he is not a good singer.

After a moment of awkward silence, Arvind Kejriwal drank from a glass of water and promptly started with the singing as the crowd cheered him on.
