Spiritual leader Siddeshwara Swamiji passed away at the age of 81 on Monday. The Karnataka seer was suffering from various ailments but had refused to take treatment other than pain relief.

The seer of the Sri Jnana Yogashrama of Vijayapura was suffering from various illnesses but had refused to take treatment other than pain relief. He had been facing age-related problems for several weeks and had been confined to a wheelchair.
The seer was being treated at his ashram by a team of doctors. He passed away at his Gyanayogashrama on Monday night.
His mortal remains was kept at his ashram till 8 am on Tuesday. After that, his body was taken to Sainik School and it will be kept till evening 5 pm and will be taken for final cremation from there.
Twitter pays tribute
Tributes started flowing in for the spiritual leader on social media soon after the news of his demise was public. People shared videos of his preaching and prayed for his departed soul.
