Kangana Ranaut has been drawing a lot of ire for her recent remark on the ongoing farmer’s protest. The Simran actress went on to take a jibe at Bilkis Bano, the Shaheen Bagh dadi by wrongly identifying her. In a now-deleted Tweet, Kangana went on to share a picture and wrote that the dadi is available for Rs 100 to be a part of the protest.
A legal notice has also been sent to Kangana for wrongly identifying the 90-year-old by a lawyer in Chandigarh. The face of Punjabi entertainment industry Diljit Dosanjh has now taken to Twitter to slam Kangana. Sharing a throwback video, Diljit wrote, “Respected MAHINDER KAUR JI Ah Sunn La Ni With Proof @KanganaTeam Banda Ena V Ni Anna Hona Chaida..
Kush v Boli Turi jandi aa ..”
Kangana went on to re-share Diljit’s Tweet and addressed him as “Karan Johar’s paltu”. She wrote, “Ooo Karan johar ke paltu, jo dadi Saheen Baag mein apni citizenship keliye protest kar rahi thi wohi Bilkis Bano dadi ji Farmers ke MSP ke liye bhi protest karti hue dikhi. Mahinder Kaur ji ko toh main janti bhi nahin. Kya drama chalaya hai tum logon ne? Stop this right now.”
Kangana didn’t stop there. She went on to share a video that shows Bilkis Bano at the farmer’s protest. She further wrote, “I had only commented on Shaheen Baag dadi cos they instigated riots there even that tweet was deleted almost immediately, I don’t know from where they brought another elderly lady in to the picture and now endlessly spreading lies.Vultures trying to instigate mob against a woman.”
Diljit has been one of the few celebs to show his solidarity with the farmer’s protest. He had taken to social media to share a post which read, “WE ARE FARMERS NOT TERRORISTS”.
