Kantara Hindi version

The makers of KGF Chapter 2, Hombale Films have created a rage in the Kannada market with the release of their action thriller film ‘Kantara’. Now, they are all set to explore the pan-India boundaries. While the film is set to release its Hindi version on October 14, premiere shows were released today.

Ever since the makers released the fascinating Hindi trailer of ‘Kantara’, it has raised the excitement level of the audience to encounter this interesting tale in the cinemas. The film will be released on 2500+ screens all across the nation catering to a huge market in different parts of the country. While the film is coming during the Diwali festival it is surely going to be a grand entertainment to watch out for in the theater.

Review by Taran Adarsh

Notable trade analyst Trana Adarsh already took a glimpse of the film in a special show screened in some theaters. The film critic is fully surprised by Rishab Shetty’s performance in Kantara and has reviewed the film on Twitter.

He wrote, #OneWordReview… #Kantara *HINDI*: BRILLIANT. Rating: 4 #KGF2 makers deliver yet another stunner: #Kantara… Mesmerizes you with strong storytelling, superb visuals, and a fantabulous finale… #RishabShetty’s retelling of folklore leaves you awestruck… DON’T MISS IT.

In another Tweet he wrote, “#RishabShetty deserves distinction marks for two reasons: Superior storytelling + electrifying act, especially towards penultimate moments… #Kantara is a massive success in #Karnataka and it won’t be a surprise if this well-made film finds immense patronage in #Hindi belt too.”

Meanwhile, Kantara is now the third highest grosser of the year in Karnataka after KGF 2 (Rs. 171.50 crores) and RRR (Rs. 86 crores), it will be crossing the latter in either the third week or fourth weekend. The way the film is running, Rs. 100 crores plus seems like a very likely target. For reaching the three-digit mark, the film needs to stay above Rs. 20 crores in the third week, which going by how weekdays are performing, shouldn’t be a big issue.
