Tagaru being one of the blockbuster hits of 2018, its music was widely appreciated across. In particular, the title track ‘Tagaru Bantu Tagaru’ became an instant hit giving a boost to film’s success. It is written by Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad and composed by Charan Raj.
Balma – Tagaru
Balma is another hit song from the album of Tagaru written by Jayanth Kaikini. The song is picturized on a character called Dolly portrayed by Dhananjaya. The highlight of Balma was its intriguing music coupled with an equally amazing poetry by Mr.Kaikini. The line ‘Nelada Gaaya Holeyuvante Suriye, Maleye’ and the place it came in the song was truly magical. Kudos to Siddharth Belmannu for bringing life to the song through his flawless singing.
Naav Maneg Hogodilla – Victory 2
Sung by Vijay Prakash, written by Yogaraj Bhatt and composed by Arjun Janya, this song went on to become a mass hit. It went viral for all the good reasons and is considered one of the top Kannada songs of 2018.
Badukina Bannave – Tagaru
Badukina Bannave is a pure magic of lyrics, music, and singing which became closer to the class audience. Thanks again to Charan Raj for giving such a wonderful track which we all can listen on loop. It is written by Jayanth Kaikini and sung by Siddarth Belmannu.
Dadda – SHPSK
Dadda definitely is one of the top Kannada songs of 2018 owing to its offbeat composition of music and words. It is written by Trilok Trivikrama and is composed and sung by Vasuki Vaibhav.
Chanooranu – Mufti
Mufti is considered as one of the most loved movies of 2018 which came in the combination of Sri Murali and Shiv Rajkumar. One song that became popular from the album of mufti is Channoranu. It is written by Sai Sarvesh and is composed and sung by Ravi Basrur.
Enne Namdu – Kanaka
Yet another Mass hit of 2018 is Enne Nimdu from the album of Kanaka. It became widely popular among the youth owing to its lyrics and tapping music. All credits go to Naveen Sajju for composing, writing, and singing this Pakka Local Hit Song of the year.
Yenammi Yenammi – Ayogya
Yenammi has become favorite for its typical Mandya dialect blended in a pure melody. Sung by Vijay Prakash and Palak Mucchal, it is composed by Arjun Janya with lyrics penned by Chethan Kumar of Bharjari fame.

Chutu Chutu – Rambo 2
Chutu chutu, a typical Uttara Karnataka style song composed by Arjun Janya is another big hit of the year. It has received a huge response across the state. It has the lyrics penned by Shivu Bergi with Shamitha Malnad and Ravindra Soragavi on vocals.
Tick Tick Tick – The Villain
The Villain has a music from Arjun Janya. Though the film ended up receiving a mixed response from the audience, its album was fairly received. This song titled Tick Tick Tick, sung by Kailash Kher, Prem, Vijay Prakash, and Siddarth Basrur became widely popular.
Adding to this, Rocky Bhai song from KGF has become a year-ending hit.
