Noted actress Kalki Koechlin recently revealed the exact reason behind her divorce with popular filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.
The couple married in 2011
Having met on the sets of DevD, Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin married in 2011. This was Anurag’s second marriage, after the divorce with Aarti Bajaj in 2009.
However, 4 years later, Anurag and Kalki sought a divorce and got themselves separated at a Bandra Family Court in 2015.
Kalki reveals the reason behind the divorce
During a chat with actress Kareena Kapoor on a radio-chat show ‘What Woman Want season 2’, the DevD actress spilled the beans on her failed marriage.
She said she was just 25 when she got married to Anurag, who was way elder at the point in time. She revealed that both of them were not on the same page and wanted different things from life, which led to their eventual separation.
Kalki also said that although it been an emotional rollercoaster journey then, she now has no differences with Anurag and that they are friends again. In fact, both even worked on the popular web-series ‘Sacred Games’ after their divorce.
Kalki is now a mother of a baby girl and is currently happy with her boyfriend Guy Hershberg. On the other hand, Anurag Kashyap is in a relationship with Shubra Shetty, an associate at Phantom Films.
