The former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said that the newly joined Bharathiya Janatha Party member Jyotiradtya Scindia abandoned his faith and went with the RSS out of anxiety for his political future. He warned him that he would neither get respected nor satisfaction in the saffron party.
An all-time friend
Speaking for the second time about the former Madhya Pradesh Congress leader, Mr. Gandhi told, “ Scindia became anxious about his political future, he abandoned his ideology and went with the RSS. But the reality is that he will neither get respect nor satisfaction there. He will understand.”
Jyotiraditya Scindia, after joining the BJP, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for their work in Madhya Pradesh. He later criticized Congress’s party for fooling people with fake promises.
Answering to the same, the Wayanad MP said, “Ours is an old friendship. What is in heart and what he is saying are two different things. This is an ideological fight with Congress on one side and RSS-BJP on the other. I know Scindia’s ideology, he was with me in college,”
Showing the disappointment, Scindia explained that the Congress party was no longer the party it was before. The 49-year-old, crossing over to the BJP has left the Congress government in Madhya Pradesh doomed. All rebel Congress MLAs (22) has resigned from the Assembly. It is reported that each one is loyal to the former Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, which has now pushed the 15-month-old Kamal Nath government to the brink of collapse.
