Rashmika Mandanna is currently riding high on the success of her latest release Mission Majnu and later she has another Bollywood movie with Ranbir Kapoor. Rashmika’s recent bend toward Hindi films and her neglectfulness during the Varisu promotion in Telugu states clearly shows the actress disregarding Tollywood. So what might be the reason? Rashmika ignoring Tollywood
Rashmika Mandanna was addressed as a national crush soon after her important role as Srivalli in the Telugu action drama Pushpa: The Rise. She has been showered much love and admiration but she has also had her share of negativity and trolls. The hatred was so much that the Kannada Industry was deciding to put a ban on the actress for her total discourteous behavior.
After the Kannada film industry fuss, she is now facing backlash for allegedly ignoring Tollywood and she is being accused of not giving the whole respect for the industry.
Rashmika was last seen in a south film Varisu starred alongside Thalapathy Vijay. Now, it seems like the 26-year-old has shown a lack of interest in participation in the promotions of “Varisu/Vaarasudu,” which was produced by Telugu producer Dil Raju.
Though Rashmika was the female lead, she was not seen anywhere during the movie’s promotions in the Telugu states. Being a famous celebrity in these regions, her promotion of the film in Hyderabad and other Telugu cities would have made a massive difference in the collections of the film.
The reason for avoiding the Telugu states
Another reason for her ignoring these Telugu states could be the rumors of her dating Vijay Devarakonda and ‘unfair’ trolling regarding the Kannada film industry which forced her to avoid the press in Telugu states. Also, her recent comment about south Indian film music has been criticized by a section of people online, with some responding angrily on social media.
And it must not be ignored that the actress is trying her luck in Bollywood. Rashmika’s recent film ‘Mission Majnu’ starring Siddharth Malhotra has received mixed reviews. Fans are assuming that this could be also one of the reasons why Rashmika is avoiding Tollywood for now. She also has another Bollywood movie ‘Animal’ with Ranbir Kapoor which is slated to release in mid-2023.
And just like how actress Pooja Hegde is jumping from one industry to another and basking a decent success, Rashmika might be planning to take a ticket on the same Train.
