Internet Finds The Real Reason Behind Amir Khan Praising The Kashmir Files

After Aamir Khan praised Vivek Agnihotri’s film, netizens are now wondering why the actor has chosen to remain straight over The Kashmir Files, despite making it contentious. Well, this is what the netizens think the reason might be.

Many Bollywood celebrities, praising The Kashmir Files, have been encouraging the audience to go ahead and watch the film. Joining the bandwagon, Aamir Khan too asked his fans to watch the film as it talks about the history of India.


During a press conference in Delhi for the upcoming Telugu film RRR, actor Aamir Khan praised Vivek Agnihotri’s film, The Kashmir Files, and urged everyone to watch it.

“I would watch the film. It is a part of history that breaks our hearts. Whatever happened to the Kashmiri Pandits, it is condemnable,” he had said.

“Any film made on such subject must be watched by all Indians. It has touched the emotions of all the people who believe in humanity, and this is a beautiful aspect of the film. I will definitely watch it, and I am delighted to see the film is successful at the box office,” he adds.


Netizens think otherwise 

Vivek Agnihotri’s directional The Kashmir Files is based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir valley in the 1990s. The film has been through a lot of controversies and Aamir Khan who has chosen to remain straight over the film has left the netizens to wonder ‘why’.

One Twitter user coming with a weird reason believes that it was all because of Aamir’s upcoming film. In a Tweet he wrote, Amir Khan’s Statement on “The Kashmiri Files” is just a honey trap for “Lal Singh Chaddha!”

It’s not new that Aamir Khan and his family had a different perspective over forbearance in India. Previously, in 2015, speaking on alleged increasing intolerance in the country, Aamir Khan had claimed his ex-wife Kiran Rao had suggested leaving India as she felt unsafe in the country.
