Namratha Rao, the founder of Butters Cafe Kumarswamy Layout & her husband Abhishek Yuvan Rao, co-founder of ArtBlot, an e-commerce clothing brand, has collaborated in providing food assistance to Daily Wage Labourers and Migrant workers who are affected by the COVID-19 Lockdown in Bengaluru.
Butters Led by Namratha is preparing healthy food for 200+ families since the 2nd of April and ArtBlot led by Abhishek has been delivering food to these families. Everyday 500+ food packets are reaching these families.
After the lockdown, the couple personally visited a few areas where they were not getting rations or food packets. They marked a few areas and started this initiative. Over the course of time, they got support from family and friends and they started pitching in rice, vegetables, LPG Cylinders, Fruits, etc. Premier Bengaluru Rapper BrodhaV has also collaborated with them on this initiative.
