The Indian Air Force (IAF) recently released a trailer of its upcoming mobile game titled “Indian Air Force: A Cut Above” which is all about aircraft, fights, and weapons. Even though it is a lot different from the other popular games like PUBG, Apex legend, and Fortnight the game is expected to offer the same level of thrill, excitement, and entertainment.

Presence Of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman

The trailer of this mobile game released by IAF features a digital rendition of what seems to be Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman along with the majority of the diverse aircraft fleet of IAF. The trailer is titled “IAF mobile game teaser” and clearly shows the familiar mustache of Abhinandan who is shown standing just next to a Mig-21.

Apart from Mig-21, there are myriad other aircraft and other related things that are seen in the trailer. These include the Mi-17 gunship, Su-30MKI, the Mirage 2000, the Dassault Rafale, a SEPECAT Jaguar, the LCA Tejas, a C-17 Globemaster, an AH-64 Apache gunship, Su-30MKI, and an anti-air weapon.

It also includes a plethora of scenarios from ground attack to air combat, a boss fight against a large conceptual aircraft which is almost similar in design to the next generation stealth bombers like Lockheed Martin B-21 and Xian H-20.

Game To Be Available On Android And iOs

This game from IAF has been developed by Threye developers who also made the earlier game of IAF titled Guardians of the Sky that garnered three million downloads. It is quite possible that IAF planned this launch with the view to make a social impact on the minds of young people and fulfill the twin purpose of providing good digital experience and motivating them to join defense sector.

IAF will launch the game officially on July 31 and it will be available on Android and iOs. A tweet shared on the official Indian Air Force-Media Co-ordination Center’s handle says, “Launch of IAF Mobile Game: Android / iOS version of IAF developed Mobile Game (Single Player) will be launched on 31 Jul 19. Download on your Android / iOS mobile phone & cherish the thrilling flying experience. The multiplayer version will soon follow. The Teaser of the game” and share a video along with it.”
