India vs South Africa, a test series that had almost shattered the Proteas from making an impactful tour. Lossing the series against the home side, the 3rd test also appears to make no difference. The 2nd day of the game in Ranchi witnessed a whole lot of Indian dominance as the day past by, thanks to Rohit Sharma’s 200 and Ajinkya Rahane’s 100 that took team India’s score almost to 500. Out of the blue, Umesh Yadav also flexed his muscle by adding away 31 runs with just 10 balls which included 5 sixes. Twittered is in deep shock for seeing the Indian Bowler battering the opponents like a merciless batsman.

Umesh Yadav’s thunderous batting

Indian fast bowler Umesh Yadav smashed 31 quick runs off 10 balls which helped India go close to 500. He smashed 5 thunderous sixes in his innings leaving the dressing room in a shock. While putting up an aggressive batting display, Umesh also broke some crucial records.

At first, he became the fastest player in the history of test matches to score 30 plus runs with the least amount of balls. Among Indians, Umesh is now the 4th after Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan, and MS Dhoni to hit a 6 off the 1st ball faced in a Test match. And also, Umesh’s strike-rate of 310 is now the highest for an innings of 30 or more runs in Test history, surpassing the previous holder Stephen Fleming’s 31* off 11 balls.
