International Cricket Council (ICC) has surrounded itself with social media battering as the board calls Ben Stokes as the greatest player over Legend Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin fans are showing displeasure against the ICC for mocking the legend not once but twice.

Previously Stokes had gifted his country with its first ODI World Cup by helping the team with impressive 84 runs in the final against New Zealand. His heroic performance was appreciated all around the world. ICC had also tweeted congratulating the all-rounder and called him the greatest cricketer of all time.
On 15th of July, ICC posted a Tweet in which they had displayed a picture of Sachin Tendulkar along with England’s Ben Stokes. The post wrote, “The greatest cricketer of all time along with Sachin Tendulkar.”

A foolish remark of the board
Ben Stokes’s remarkable century resulted in England’s unbelievable victory over Australia in the ongoing Ashes Test series. Following Ben Stokes Ashes heroics, ICC shared their previous post mocking Sachin again. They wrote sharing the world cup final post, “ Told you so”.

However, fans are calling it a disrespect to the batting legend. The little master has won many games for his country single-handedly and have maximum ICC records which are hardly breakable. In that case, calling Ben Stokes above Sachin Tendulkar is clear foolishness by the cricket board.

I think Sachin deserves more respect than this.. In the late 90s he shouldered the Entire Indian cricket team on his Own..countless times.. The only difference.. There wasn't any Twitter during that time..
