In an interview with Russia Today, Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Imran Khan has offered to have a TV debate with PM Modi to “resolve the differences” between the two countries.
More Facts
“I would love to debate with Narendra Modi on TV,” Imran Khan told. Adding the fact that it would be “beneficial” for the billion-plus people in the Indian subcontinent. He went on to speak about how Indo-Pak has become minimal as India is now a hostile country for them.
“Indian leadership would concentrate on raising the people out of poverty in India,” rather than engage in hostilities with neighbors and minorities in the country, he has said.
There was no response to this from the Indian side. India has been a country that has believed that trade and terror cannot go hand in hand hence no issues have been spoken about and resolved. India has asked Pakistan to take action against “non-state actors” who operate freely from PoK, and has emphasized that talks can only happen in a “terror-free atmosphere.”
