Recently the couple Dhanush and Aishwaryaa announced their separation after 18 years of marriage. Their fans were heartbroken after their decision and there were many speculations about their divorce. The fans apparently never saw this coming but those who are close to the couple say that this was pretty evident.
After much theories and speculations, one of their friends has spoken to a news portal and confirmed the news. According to him, Dhanush’s dedication to his work was the main reason for the divorce. He went on to add that Dhanush is a workaholic and places everything before his work hence this created problems and took a toll on his family life. He also said that Dhanush developed the likeness to sing in his new films every time there was friction between the couple. Apparently, Dhanush took his work as his leeway to escape from the falling relationship.
The couple reached a decision and posted it on social media after a long deliberation with family and ahead of the kids as well.

The friend of the couple also added that their fans might see them in an event together not as a couple but as friends as they do not have bitterness against each other.
However, the father of Dhanush has added a twist to the tale and said that the couple is divorced but this is just a family fight and will be resolved. He went on record to say,
“Dhanush and Aishwaryaa are not in Chennai at present. Both are in Hyderabad. I spoke to both of them over the phone and gave them some advice,”
