Sandalwood’s Daali Dhananjay, who was last seen in Badava Rascal, has several films getting ready for release this year. The first one to hit the theaters will be his Kannada-Malayalam Bilingual Twenty One Hours.
Dhananjay’s ‘Twenty One Hours’
When it comes to watching movies, suspense thrillers are a solid go-to for many of us out there. Moreover, when it gets coupled with mystery it gets even more fascinating. But given the number of such contents, it often gets a little confusing what to choose. Sandalwood’s Daali Dhananjay has brought us a solution to this problem. His upcoming movie ‘ Twenty One Hours’ is filled with loads of suspense, actions, mystery, and entertainment.
Dhananjay who is slowly making his impact on the Indian Film Industry is back with ‘Twenty One Hours’. It is a suspense thriller movie directed by Jaishankar Pandit. The movie stars Daali Dhanajajya, Durga Krishna, Sudev Nair, Dinesh Babu, Rahul Madhev, and others in key roles.
The film centers around a case of a missing Malayali- speaking woman in Bengaluru. Dhananjay plays the rugged cop investigating this case. It is reported that the movie was filmed in just 21 days after 1st lockdown. The movie is set to release on 20th May. The film is bankrolled by NS Balakrishna, Abhishek Tumkur Rudramurthy, Sunil Gowda, and Praveen Mahadeva under Aham Conceptam Pvt. Ltd banner.
Kannada and Malayalam Movie
Some of the Malayalam actors have reportedly dubbed the movie in Kannada in their original voice. Jaishankar, whose mother tongue is Malayalam, admits he is a true-blue Bangalorean. “Kannada was never an alien language to me, and I am glad I get to make my debut in this language,” he says.
Dhananjay is among those actors who try experimenting with roles, and that’s what pushed him to take up Twenty One Hours. “Being an under cop, there are different shades to my role, and my acting skills were put to challenge,” says Dhananjay. He also adds that the project helped him unite with National award-winning technicians. The technical aspects of the movie and the cinematography are performed by S Tiru.
