Prayog Studio, in association with BookMyShow (BMS), has announced a show that will take off this Saturday. Titled ‘Virtual Stage’, Manju Drums Collective will be performing in the inaugural concert of this show. The event is scheduled to take place at 7 pm on June 13th. This show will be streaming on the BookMyShow app and tickets are priced at Rs.150.
A remarkable initiative
Art and Artists came to the rescue of people during the tough COVID-19 crisis. At that time, many artists entertained people by coming live on various social media platforms, all without charging a penny. With this initiative, Prayog Studio aims to raise funds for a few of these artists.
Featuring Artists
Artists will be performing at the Prayag Studio, with the available resources and equipment. The first show will star Manju Drums Collective. The artists from this group who will perform are Manjunath N.S (Drums), Varun Pradeep (Keyboard) & Bruthuva Caleb (Bass Guitar).
The show will also feature a few other eminent artists such as Amith Nadig (Flute), Siddhartha Belmannu (Vocals), Vasuki Vaibhav (Vocals), Karthik Vydhatri (Mridangam) and Arpitha Banerjee (Kathak dancer).
An interesting concept called the ‘MDC Choir’ will also go live at the event. Led by Bruthuva Caleb, the choir group will lend their support to all the songs. The choir will feature Pratham Bhat, Ganesh Karanth, Partha Chirathan, Divya Ramachandra, Sparsha RK, Suraksha Das, and Shreya Bhat.
