In a shocking incident coming from the Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka, a Superintendent of Police has allegedly pressurized the priests of a local Hindu temple to have a photo of Jesus and Mary inside the temple’s Garbagriha.

On August 5th, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and other affiliated groups had organized a special pooja in the local Anjaneya Swamy temple in the district. The pooja was in accordance with the historic event in Ayodhya Ram Mandir.

There is no evil intentions or any attempt to hurt any religious sentiments. It is a routine activity, where we pray for people irrespective of their identity.”
