Not even a single day passes without a surprise element and Once again Myntra trends on twitter with a new headache to their platform and this time it’s about boycotting them based on a past 2016 advertisement. The hashtag Boycott Myntra began trending online after an alleged “anti-Hindu” advertisement from the online shopping platform went viral. The alleged ad, featuring the Myntra logo, was an illustration based on a scene from the epic Mahabharata.
Who Began This Campaign?
An Instagram page called @hindutvaoutloud shared the illustration in a post and people started calling out the e-commerce platform for putting up “anti-Hindu” products and advertisements. The illustration showed Krishna shopping online for an “extra long” saree on the Myntra app during “Draupadi cheerharan”.
This alleged advertisement made controversy back in 2016 as well when people assumed that this is an advertisement by Myntra. However, it was a post by a user named ScrollDroll, who wanted to explore what would happen if the Gods were to use 21st-century technology.Back then, Myntra had also clarified the misunderstanding with a tweet, confirming that this advertisement was not published by them.
Bhakts Fumed As It Allegedly Disrespected Their Sentiments
The controversial ad has gone viral on Twitter over the weekend enraging Right wingers who are not only boycotting Myntra but also uninstalling other ecommerce sites. One such BJP supporter lashed out at Myntra for posting this disrespectful ad and urged others to uninstall them.
Well, it was fairly not at all their responsibility and without having prior knowledge on what it is or how it started Bhakts began to spread their pro hindu ideologies and wanted to boycott the e-commerce site.Myntra once again responded to the hatred that they were not responsible for such acts and they do not endorse such advertisements.

Nowadays Bhakts are entitled for spreading unnecessary hates on some petty things that too from such old posts and fodder hatred based on religion based discrimination. At Least some with common sense confronted such dupes for starting Absurd sqabbles.
