The passing away of the 34-year-old actor has shaken lives across the different walks of life. While there have been speculations about the cause of his death. In recent reports, people are claiming that the actor lost 7 films in 6 months.

The death of the actor has paved way for the debate around mental illness and the ruthlessness of the Hindi Film Industry. While celebrities, filmmakers, and actors from the film industry call for introspection, the social media users have decided that it was Bollywood that killed the actor. “At times our movie industry’s hypocrisy gets to me. High & mighty announcing they should have kept in touch with Sushant. Come on you didn’t & that’s cause his career dipped. So STFU! Are you in touch with Imran Khan, Abhay Deol and others? No! But you were when they were doing well!”

Popular hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani also spilled secrets about Sushant and said,

“It’s no secret Sushant was going through very tough times for the last few years. No one in the industry stood up for him nor did they lend a helping hand. To tweet, today is the biggest display of how shallow the industry really is. No one here is your friend. RIP.”

However, actress Kangana Ranaut released a video on the social media talking about the deep-rooted pertaining issues in the industry that has been linked to the death of Sushant. In a minute-long video, Kangana questioned whether it was suicide or planned murder. She said,

“If you look at his last few posts, he is clearly saying, begging people to see his films, that I don’t have a Godfather, I will be thrown out of this industry. Even in his interviews, he says why doesn’t this industry make me it’s own? I feel like a leftover. So doesn’t this incident have any reason? There is also a section of journalists who write blinds on Sushant, that he is psychotic, he is neurotic, he is an addict. But you find Sanjay Dutt’s addiction very cute.”

Sushant Lost 7 Films In 6 Months

Former Member of Parliament Sanjay Nirupam revealed in a tweet that despite the massive success of Chhichhore, Sushant lost 7 films in six months. He also slammed the ruthlessness of the industry.

The actor passed away due to suicide on the 14th of June 2020. The actor was found hanging in his bedroom on Sunday morning which has left the world of Bollywood shocked. The actor’s demise has also brought back the discussion around mental health and the importance of it. The actor’s last theatrical release Chhichore garnered over 150 crores in the box office. The actor’s next release that is going to be his last one, Dil Bechara, is slated to release on an online platform.
