BJP MLA Nandakishor Gurjar has urged Indian Cricket Team captain Virat Kohli to divorce Anushka Sharma, as the Bollywood actress produced the controversial Amazon Prime web-series Paatal Lok.
Gurjar had earlier filed an FIR against Anushka
Earlier, the BJP MLA had filed an FIR against Anushka Sharma for using his picture without his consent in the web-series Paatal Lok. He then wrote a letter to Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javdekar, and asked him to ban the streaming of the series.
He also filed a complaint against the producer under the National Security Act for allegedly causing communal disharmony. Gurjar then accused Anushka of sedition as well. Apart from all of this, Anushka was also sent a legal notice by Viren Sri Gurung, a member of the Lawyers Guild for using a casteist slur in the show.
MLA now asks for a divorce
Later, Mr. Nandakishor Gurjar had a bit of rather strange advice for Virat Kohli. He asked him to divorce Anushka Sharma as the actress had produced the web-series. He said:“Virat Kohli desh bhakt hai, desh k liye khele hai. Anushka ko talak de dena chahiye (Virat Kohli is a patriot, he has represented India. He should divorce Anushka).“

Well, it needs to see if the couple would respond to the issue. On the work front, while Virat Kohli is waiting for training camps to resume, Anushka is happy with the success of Paatal Lok and is also thinking of a possible Season-2.
