The production house has not yet started the KGF 3 pre-production process, however, Vijay Kirgandur is sure that the Yash starrer will go on floors very soon.
KGF 3 work begins from 2025
Kannada film KGF: Chapter 2 broke all box office records and became the most-grossing movie of 2022. Apart from Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, and Raveena Tandon played pivotal roles in Prashanth Neel’s film. With a box office collection crossing Rs 1205 crore gross, expectations are high with KGF: Chapter 3.
Since KGF 3 was announced, rumors began flying thick and fast about when the Yash starrer will go on floors and when it’ll release. With all the rumors going around, the Hombale Films chief has given an update.
Vijay Kirgandur has announced that KGF: Chapter 3 will go on floors in 2025. As of now, Prashanth Neel is busy with Salaar until September.
KGF Universe
Giving more details about the KGF Universe, Vijay Kirgandur says, “it is possible in the KGF franchise that after the 5th part, another hero may play Rocky Bhai’s role, just like the James Bond series, the heroes keep changing.”
“About Part 3, after Prashanth is done with Salaar, we will discuss it. KGF 3 may release by 2026,” added Kiragandur.
Those who’ve been following Prashanth Neel closely, are well aware that he is busy with Prabhas starrer Salaar, after which he’ll move on to Jr. NTR’s Pan-India project, tentatively titled NTR 31. Only after these two are wrapped up, Prashanth will be free to focus on and properly begin KGF 3, which won’t be sometime before mid-2025.

Considering the scale of KGF Chapter 3, the film will be more demanding than KGF Chapter 2. The film will also make sure Rocky’s mass appearance will continue to keep fans on the edge of their seats. Moreover, People will be more curious as to whether or not Rocky will still be alive in the following chapter.
