In fact, even today, I will go to these bakeries and get some Puffs and Rusk carrying a big smile and a feel of chastity within. B.B Bakery, Chickpet

If Iyengar Bakeries are a name today then B.B Bakery is the Baap of all Iyengar Bakeries. This is one of the oldest bakeries of Bangalore, started way back in 1898. The legend goes like bakery’s owner learned to bake from an English customer and continued to create his own signature styled bakery items. They have outlets across the city and anyone who passes by B.B Bakery cannot control themselves to go in and have at least a piece of bun. Our favorites here are Palya buns, Khara Biscuits, and nicely baked hot bread slices.

Al – Bilal Bakery, Marappa Garden

Have you tried Khova ever? How about Khova Naan? Come to Al-Bilal and have a fresh burst of molten khova along with their Naan varieties. Take a cup of coffee/tea from the stall next door and sip it with the Chaska maska snacks. Trust me, you will enjoy a lot.

Albert Bakery, Frazer Town

Since 1902, Alber Bakery has been a favorite hangout for everyone who grew up in Bangalore East. How can we forget their meat-stuffed buns, 20Rs Lava Cake, and Samosas? Frazer town and its rush coupled with the taste of Albert Bakery has a lot of stories associated with. In those times, no home party or a friend’s hangout was incomplete without this Bakery being a part of it. One should come here during Ramadan to experience the taste of Bheja Fry Samosa. Too yummy!!

If you want to eat the best Egg-Puff of the city then go to Jayalakshmi Bakery. They are served hot with fluffy puff and mind-blowing masala gravy stuffed inside. You’ll love it. Also, you must try their Dil Pasand and Rusk Cookies.

Have you tried Butter Biscuits (Benne Biskattu)? If no then try at S.G Iyengar Bakery. They are best in that. Otherwise, the bakery bakes everything from hot bread (best bread), puffs, Palya bun, Khova bread coupled with tangy snack items.

Koshy’s Automatic Bakery, Richmond Town

Koshy’s is known for their scrumptious English Breakfast however they are equally popular for Bangalore’s best confectionary items since 50’s. Be it Plum cakes, Brownies, Bread omelet, or Chocolate Balls, this place has kept its legendary taste, till date.

When we go to V.B then we will not leave any chance to taste their super delicious Benne and Khaara biscuits, Congress Bun, Toffees, Damrots, Masala Rusk and more.

O.G Variar Bakery, Rajajinagar

This is one of the legendary outlets of Bengaluru and you can’t take any chance to miss this. Because of the quality and price, Variar Bakery has become crowd favorite in the city. Everything here is perfectly baked and with the very aroma, I can say that this item is from Variar.

Must – Have : Rusk, Apple Cake, Veggie Puffs, Sweet buns, Khara Bread, Salt and Sweet Biscuits, Fruit Puff, and Potato Bun.
