Australians Celebrating Their Maiden Title In Style! Video Goes Viral As They Drink From Their Shoes

The Australian cricket team is indeed the mightiest squad in the history of world cricket. They have won about 5 titles in ODI world cups and twice the champion trophies but this maiden T20 title is something they will cherish for their lifetime. After lifting their maiden T20 World Cup trophy on Sunday, Australia celebrated the major victory in style with all-rounder Glenn Maxwell jokingly saying that he will remain “unreachable” for the next few days as the celebrations begin. Apart from that, the Australian team seems to be in a celebrating mood as they can be seen lapping the glory in their dressing room as well as in the flight.

Images from the celebrations are already on social media as shared by players. Apart from that, the Australian players took to Instagram and shared the images from their celebrations on the IG story. Players Celebrate In A Unique Way

The Australian players went gaga in the dressing room after their historic triumph. The players are seen dancing and making merry in the dressing room. Some of them are also seen drinking their way to glory. And the ‘Men in Yellow’ were drinking from their shoes to celebrate their triumph. The likes of Matthew Wade and Marcus Stoinis removed their shoes, poured their drink into it, and then drank. All in all, the Aussies had a ball after their superb performance in the 2021 T20 World Cup.

Australia chased A Stiff Target Of 173

The New Zealand side posted a good total of 172/4 on the board, and the Aussies needed to score at a run rate of over 8.5 runs per over to go past the finish line. But, the Australian batsmen did not panic and finished the job with aplomb. At the top of the order, David Warner proved his worth by scoring a superb 53 at a strike rate of close to 140. Warner struck 4 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. And then, came a superb knock from the willow of Mitchell Marsh. Next year the again there will be T20 world cup!
