According to rumors, Anushka is getting ready to marry a Telangana businessman, based out of Hyderabad. Her partner is a gold merchant and is said to be the owner of many gold shops.

Earlier, while interacting with Deccan Chronicle, Anushka Shetty was asked about the gossip making the rounds about her marriage. She stated, “My family — who had wanted to get me married ever since I was 20 — knows me for who I am, even though they were never affected by my marriage rumors.”
“To me, marriage is a very sacred space. I believe in the phenomenon of two people bonding together for the rest of their lives. I believe that relationship and marriage are spaces in which people can grow the most because if you are in a relationship you are constantly staying with that partner, and the bond evolves,” she adds.
On the work front, Anushka Shetty is now working on filmmaker Mahesh P’s film, which will star Naveen Polishetty as the protagonist. The project is currently being filmed in Hyderabad. UV Creations is producing the film, tentatively titled Anushka48.
