In a bizarre video making rounds of a young woman named Amulya Leona chanting “Pakistan Zindabad” has put the whole country in a bit of a shock. The 19 yo woman from Bengaluru shouted these slogans at an anti CAA NRC event which was also attended by Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
Leona is originally from Koppa in Chickmagalur where her family stays now. Her father is also shocked and shown great concern over his daughter’s shocking speech at the said event.
In a video that is also going viral on social media, the father is heard saying “Let my daughter rot in jail. Let the police break her legs. I have no objection. She has caused so much misery to my family”.
The visibly upset father also said that he will not be aiding his daughter in fighting the sedition case. He also mentioned that he will not be paying for her bail or for the lawyers that she will need. Sedition is a non-bailable offense and will require extensive fight from her lawyers to get her out of this.
Leona’s friends have suggested that she is somewhat of a revolutionary with very strong views and has often refused to listen to what others have to say.
