Shahensha of Bollywood has yet again earned a spotlight, this time it is for something he has done to the farmers. Amitabh Bachchan who is known for his legacy in the Bollywood films has now cleared the loans of over two thousand farmers from Bihar.

Amitabh Bachchan said that he had called the farmers in his residency and then the amount was donated by the hands of his son Abhishek and daughter Shweta. The Big B also wrote in a blog which says, “A promise made done… the farmers from Bihar that had outstanding loans, picked 2100 of them and paid off their amount with an OTS (One Time Settlement) with the Bank called some of them over to Janak and personally gave it to them at the hands of Shweta and Abhishek.”

Earlier he made a promise to pay back the loans of the farmers, he said “there is the gift of those that suffer from the inability to pay back the loans. They are now from the state of Bihar”. This is not the first time Amitabh has helped farmers. Last year, the Piku star had cleared the loans of over one thousand farmers in Uttar Pradesh.
On a note, it’s not the first time the Bollywood star has helped the farmer, in the previous year the 76-year-old had cleared the loans of over 1,398 farmers in Uttar Pradesh and Maharastra.
He also added that he has another promise to complete, and this time its the martyrs family of the Pulwama attack, he said: “Now going to Janak to complete another promise… to give some monetary assist to the martyr’s families, who sacrificed their lives at Pulwama…”
