Fans were jumping in excitement to see Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan working together in Atlee’s film Jawan. But it seems their union is not happening.
A straight No to Atlee’s film Jawan
After Shah Rukh Khan’s box office hit with Pathaan, everyone is desperately waiting for his next Jawan. The film directed by South director Atlee is among the most-awaited films of the year. Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi are already going to play key roles in the film.
Earlier, there was a huge Buzz that Allu Arjun will be making a cameo appearance in Atlee’s Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. But it looks like there will be no collaboration.
Busy schedule
A source told Pinkvilla that the actor couldn’t be a part of the project due to his busy schedule. “The narration happened with the makers but Allu Arjun couldn’t say yes to the film due to his busy schedule. Allu has been training rigorously to get into the skin of his character for Pushpa: The Rule and for the next few months, he is only going to focus on it. Pushpa-2 shoot is underway at a fast pace with two major schedules wrapped in Vizag and Hyderabad,” the publication quoted.
After the grand success of Pushpa: The Rise, fans are waiting for the second installment of the same. It stars Fahadh Faasil in a key role. The first part ended with Pushpa calling for a war with SP Bhawar Singh played by Fahadh. Part two will take on from here.
Meanwhile, Jawan, directed by Atlee, will feature Shah Rukh Khan alongside Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. The project was announced in 2022 and it is slated to release in theatres this year.
