After the announcement, media bulletins went wild with speculations and reports. One publication reported that Ranbir Kapoor will be going to the United Kingdom to pick up Alia Bhatt who is shooting there for her upcoming Hollywood venture. Alia has now taken to her Instagram and slammed the publication for spreading such news.
A news agency in Mumbai reports about Alia, “Actress Alia Bhatt took the internet by storm on Monday morning after she announced her first pregnancy. Reportedly, the mommy-to-be will return to Mumbai in mid-July. It is also being reported that Ranbir Kapoor might go to the UK to bring his wife home. According to India Today, Alia will be taking a rest after she returns from her shoot. The report also suggests that the actress planned her pregnancy in a way that doesn’t affect any of her commitments. She will be wrapping up her films, ‘Heart Of Stone’ and ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ before the end of July.”

Alia reposted that post and wrote, “Meanwhile we still live in some people’s heads. We still live in a patriarchal world. FYI, nothing has gotten delayed. No one needs to pick anyone up. I am a woman, not a parcel. I do not need to rest at all but good to know you’ll have a doctor’s certification as well. This is 2022. Can we please get out of this archaic way of thinking? Alia Bhatt recently shared a picture of herself with Ranbir Kapoor at the doctor’s office announcing her pregnancy. She later took to Instagram to share a gratitude post for all the good wishes she has received.
Currently, the actress is busy shooting for the film ‘Heart of Stone.’ On the other hand, the shooting of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ has ended. Alia, however, will return to the country soon after finishing her work. For now, her fans and family members are waiting to see her as a future mother. A new member is going to come to Kapoor’s family in November.
