The Sushan Singh Rajput’s untimely demise has sparked off a debate against the Bollywood families. Much of the criticism has been targeted at Mahesh Bhatt due to his close proximity to Rhea Chakraborty.
With Mahesh Bhatt’s directorial comeback due for release in the form of Sadak 2, there has been massive outrage against the film and the lead actress Alia Bhatt who also happens to be the daughter of the filmmaker. The trailer of the film got a record amount of dislikes showing the extent of outrage.
Recently, filmmaker Prakash Jha has come out in the support of Alia Bhatt. He spoke about the attack on the star kids and said,
“There’s no denying that Alia Bhatt is a fantastic actress and that Mahesh Bhatt Saab is an excellent director, who has made many great movies. To drag them down over some theories that have no evidence because people are saying whatever they want makes no sense. I don’t follow social media much but what’s happening in the case of Sadak 2, if it has become the most disliked video as they say, and if it’s only for this reason, then it’s obnoxious, very sad and very unfair.”
About Sushant Singh Rajput
The filmmaker was also asked about Sushant Singh Rajput and he responded by saying,
“Maybe there were certain offers where Sushant Singh Rajput was kind of like pushed out, I don’t know, but that happens all the time. You can’t take that as a general rule and some people who are trying to make a big thing out of it. It’s obnoxious, I don’t feel it’s right.”
The case of Sushant Singh Rajput has taken several twists in the last few weeks. The case is now being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The investigation is expected to unfold the truth soon.
