Some of the best aviation technologies are seen here. The aviation companies will be keen to clinch some of the multimillion-dollar contracts from the government. Here are a few reasons why this air-show is one that you simply cannot miss.
1. Largest air-show in Asia
The event has become the largest air-show in Asia. The event has become one of the most important platforms for aviation companies from different countries as well such as Russia, France, the USA, and Britain amongst others. Various defence personnel and governments will be on the lookout for emerging tech they can buy. Defence contractors will also be trying their best to ink new deals.
The last Aero Show in 2017 saw over 1.6 lakh footfalls from general and business visitors. At this 12th edition of the air show, over four hundred exhibitors are expected to participate with sixty-one aircraft on display.
Indian aircrafts such as the LCA Tejas will also be displayed here. Apart from Tejas, the Light Helicopter Rudra will also make its presence felt. Other utility and combat copters along with the first indigenously upgraded Hawk-I are also expected to fly here. The Sukhoi SU-30 and the B-52 bomber of Boeing will also take to the skies. The aircraft will enthrall the aviation enthusiast in you. The event is not to be missed especially by those interested in avionics, aerodynamics, and research in related fields.
3. Feeling of awe
Watching the aircraft fly in the skies leaves one with a feeling of awe. Perhaps this is one of the best avenues to inculcate passion and interest among kids towards science. Watching the aerobics also gives youngsters inspiration of joining the Indian Air Force where one can truly be one of the guardians of the sky. Watching some of the aircrafts such as the Tejas soar in the sky fills one with feelings of patriotism and pride.
4. The Aerobics
The aerobics are performed by a team of experienced pilots. The skill and hard work it takes to perform such coordinated maneuvers take immense skill and practice. Though the death of a pilot from the Surya Kiran team during rehearsal has cast a shadow on the proceedings, there still remains a lot of hype and excitement for the event.
