After the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, former Pakistani cricketer Danish Kaneria took to twitter to express his gratitude.
In a tweet, the Pakistan leg spinner said,
“Today is the historical day for Hindus across the world. Lord Ram is our ideal. The beauty of Lord Rama lies in his character, not in his name. He is a symbol of the victory of right over the evil. There is a wave of happiness across the world today. It is a moment of great satisfaction. #JaiShriRam.”
Meanwhile, the Indian twitter wondered why Indian cricketers have not reacted to the historic incident and were silent. A twitter user said,
“Danish Kaneria says Jai Shri Ram from Pakistan but Indian captain doesn’t. Crores of endorsements > Religion.”
Here are some of the Tweet reactions
I looked through the Twitter times lines of Indian cricketers – Anil Kumble, Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma and more.
None had tweeted about Ayodhya #BhumiPujan

It's shocking not a single cricketer and Bollywood Star have congratulated people of India .
They are shamless people for them money is very important. We must boycott them
I don't think they are heros our real heros must be soldiers
