The film ‘The Kerala Story’ is directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The film stars Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani, among others. The film was released today.
Based on a controversial subject, the film’s teaser was released in November last year. It included a hijab-wearing woman who claimed that 32,000 women had been converted and trafficked to places like Syria and Afghanistan. The movie is based on real accounts of Hindu and Christian women in Kerala who were influenced to engage in love jihad before being sent to fight for ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
