Rishab Shetty has commented on whether Urvashi Rautela is going to be a part of Kantara 2 or not. He was asked this question soon after he had received Dadasaheb Phalke Award.

Ever since Kantara turned out to be a blockbuster and Rishab Shetty hinted about surprises in Kantara 2, there has been much gossip turning around. There was also a massive rumor of Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela being part of the prequel. The 39-year-old has now cleared the air about this enormous confusion.
The actor was recently honored with Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the ‘Most promising Actor’ for Kantara. He graced the red carpet dressed in a black shirt and dhoti.

Outside the event, he was asked by Instant Bollywood whether Urvashi Rautela is a part of Kantara 2. Fans remember that she posted a pic with Rishab Shetty and tagged Hombale Films.
Replying to the question, Rishab Shetty said, “Nahi, nahi wo bus ekk selfie tha (NO NO, we just took a selfie together)” stating that the script was still being written. He said a proper announcement would be made in due time.
