Bollywood’s most energetic actor Ranveer Singh recently won the best actor award at Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night in Dubai. While receiving the award, the 37-year-old got emotional and delivered a heartening speech on the stage. The Simmba actor got up and started dancing on his chair when his name was declared and touched his parents’ feet before going on to the stage. Ranveer even touched Govinda and Hema Malini’s feet to seek their blessings as they too were sitting ahead in the front seat.

After accepting the award, Ranveer gave an emotional speech and broke down in tears. The actor recalled his struggling days and shared a few incidents when his mom and dad supported him to fulfill his dream of becoming an actor. Ranveer brushed off his tears as he recalled how his dad arranged Rs 50,000 for his portfolio during his struggling days. The video of him getting emotional and thanking his parents has gone viral and it produced mixed reactions on the internet.
