India is currently playing England in the T20 World Cup 2022 semi-final at the Adelaide Oval. KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma’s continued failure at the top order has raised questions about these cricketers’ future in the world-cup side.
The openers fail
Previously, fans and a few experts were skeptical of KL Rahul’s place in the playing XI, considering his poor record in big matches against strong opposition. However, the team management assigned Rahul to do the job but he failed to repay the faith shown in him by Rahul Dravid. India captain Rohit Sharma too remained helpless in the semifinals against England as he only managed to score 27 of 28 balls.
As Rahul and Rohit made their way back to the pavilion by not contributing much to the team, fans took to social media to brutally troll both of them for consistently failing in important fixtures and putting the team under pressure.
