Reaction to Chetan’s statement
At this time, priest Veerendra Heggade responded to actor Chetan’s statement about the controversy around Kantara. I don’t know if deity worship is a part of Hinduism or not. But if we talk without knowing the basic nature of the undivided Dakshina Kannada district, it will be different. He said that if you search for the source of religion, you will not find it anywhere.”
“Beliefs and practices have evolved naturally. It is impossible for us to leave this. I don’t know what subtleties of Hinduism they have gone and seen. Deity worship is widely believed in two districts,” he said.
“Even today we worship God. We respect God’s word. When God comes upon me, we respect the word,” he concludes.
