Telugu Cinema superstar Vijay Deverakonda’s much-awaited film Liger hit the screens across the world today. Twitter is busy sharing their opinions about Liger on social media, with some very extreme reactions.
Liger is finally out
Liger, Vijay Deverakonda’s most significant production and his first pan-India effort, was scripted and directed by Puri Jagannath. The film has generated a lot of mixed responses ahead of its release.
The film is an action thriller where Vijay plays a role of a boxer. Liger is the story of a poor tea vendor from Karimnagar who dreams of becoming an MMA champion. Vijay Deverakonda and his mother, Ramya Krishnan, set off for Mumbai to make it big. Ronit Roy, Makarand Deshpande, Ivy Haralson, and Subhankar Bagchiand all are among the cast members. Interestingly, Mike Tyson, the legendary boxing icon, makes a cameo appearance in the film.
Vijay Deverakonda’s body transformation is quite appreciating. The actor does justice to his role beyond expectations. Deverakonda nails his character and his dialogues are simply praiseworthy. It is clearly visible that the 33-year-old has done a lot of practice to perform and Deverakonda has worked hard to pull it off effortlessly. Meanwhile, Ananya Panday’s character has less scope for performance in Liger. Ramya Krishna does a fine job in the film.
Netizens who’ve watched Liger in the cinema halls already are tweeting about their thoughts on the movie. There have been extreme Liger movie reviews typed out on Twitter. While some fans have praised the movie, some have called the Puri Jagannadh directorial a disaster and have already labeled it as a flop.
